Designer Julien fournie started designing garments using man made fiber neoprene, a rubberized type material that is notoriously difficult to sew. He therefore decided to take designs to engineers who would then be able to find the right pressure for the sewing machine needle that ensured the needle didn't break as well as coming up with way for the designers to create sketches in 3D eliminating the need to create multiple sketches from different view points therefore saving time.
Project concept is an in depth exploration of the impression of technology and space and its evolution using factual and scientific imagery and transferring this into my own interpretation. Using artistic processes to encapsulate the idea of growth not only in machinery but also scientific knowledge by also looking at what designs can be created using space as an inspiration for pattern.
