Exoskeleton Performance by Stelarc

Stelarc is a visual performance artist who I have a particular interest in. His works incorporate the use of technology to create unique art performances. The prominence of his work is the notion of the body as obsolete. This is ultimately what drives his work, the robotics used controls his body and showcase a strong notion of technology and its evolution. The above work shows an his exoskeleton piece which inspired me with its strong use of robotics and technology.
